Life Coach and Myers-Briggs Consultant

As a holistic coach & mentor, I work with clients in the second half of life - those who have already done some personal development work - but who are ready to go deeper into their suffering, stuck-ness, and longing for change.

If you are ready for meaningful change, let’s connect.

“Life really does begin at forty. Up until then, you are just doing research.”

- Carl Jung

Something powerful happens in the second half of life. We arrive at a point where there is as much life behind us as there is ahead. Far from being a discouraging fact, this period of life gives us the opportunity to reflect on how we have lived our lives so far - and to decide how we want to live the rest of our lives.

New questions emerge:

• What patterns do I see repeating in my life, both professionally and personally? Am I okay with these patterns? Do I want to change any of them?

• What do I believe about myself, others, and the world in general? Are these beliefs really mine or did I internalize them somehow? What do I want to believe?

• How was my life shaped by my early experiences? And apart from these early experiences, who am I really? Who do I want to be?

• What parts of myself have I left behind? What joyful activities or interests did I have as a child that I’ve disconnected from as an adult? What would it look like to find new ways to incorporate some of this joy, spontaneity, awe, and wonder back into my life?

• Is there a spiritual dimension to life? And if I already have a perspective on this, is there room for deepening, challenging, and working with this area of my life now?

• What were the values and ideas that I lived the first half of my life out of? Which ones do I want to let go of or change? What values or ideas might I want to live out of now?

And there are many other questions as well; questions that we face in the second half of life.

If these questions resonate with you - let’s connect. It would be an honor to support your second half of life journey into becoming more deeply, authentically, and meaningfully you.

With my holistic coaching & mentoring practice, I work in 3 primary modalities:

Compassionate Inquiry (CI) Sessions

CI is a trauma-informed modality that was co-created by Gabor Maté and Sat Dharam Kaur. It uses a holistic, mind-body approach to work through any points of suffering/frustration in our current lives. By uncovering the ways our present situation is being colored by the past, we can finally find freedom from the past - and we can experience new choices in the here and now. One of the strengths of CI is that it draws from so many adjacent, trauma-informed modalities; IFS, Polyvagal Theory, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness practices, yoga, and more. By borrowing tools from each of these fields - and using these tools together - CI is a powerful way to support healing, growth, well-being, and wholeness.

Dream Work Sessions

The Talmud says that: “a dream uninterpreted is like a letter unopened.”

Dream work is one of the oldest and most powerful psychotherapeutic tools that we have. Borrowing from my 15-year study of dreams, we will uncover the deeper meaning of your own “dream letters.” And we will find practical ways to apply this wisdom to the areas of your life that the dreams are pointing to; areas like your relationships, work, stressors, recurring patterns, spiritual path, and psychological healing. There is good reason that dream work is one of the oldest methods of guidance and healing that we have. Together, we will invoke the Wisdom of dreams to guide you towards your deeper life path, and toward deeper levels of healing and integration.

Jungian Coaching & Mentoring

Before I found my way in CI, I studied Jungian psychology for 12 years. It is an incredible framework for deep levels of introspection and for moving toward a more authentic and self-actualized life. For those who have a passion for Jungian psychology, we will work together within this framework - using tools like shadow work, typology, dream work, active imagination, alchemy, and others - to get you “on track” to becoming the person you are called to be, and living the life you are called to live.

The holistic, trauma-informed methods and tools that I use:

• Coach certification training (ICF)

• Compassionate Inquiry training (Gabor Maté’s modality)

• Jungian psychology tools (dream work, shadow work, typology, and active imagination)

• Internal Family Systems/parts work training (IFS for coaches)

• Training in Nonviolent Communication (NVC)

• Certification as a MBTI Practitioner

• Formal academic psychology studies
